GRETACODER Family of Link Encryptors

Models: GC 522/524/526/605

A family of high speed link encryption units for data rates up to 2 Mbit/s. Model 522, up to 20 kbit/s, Model 524, up to 64 kbit/s, Model 526, up to 512 kbit/s, and Model 605, up to 2.048 Mbit/s. A variety of interfaces are available, including V.24,V.35, V.11, X.21, T1 and E1. GRETACODER units are designed for high security applications. Encryption is automatic and protocol transparent. Continuous encryption ensures data privacy and prevents traffic flow analysis.

The four models are cryptologically compatible and offer common features including: DES algorithm (56 bit key) or optional GDS algorithm (128 bit key), self-synchronization, AUTOKEY (automatic key generation) with authentication, unique secure session keys, all secret elements stored in encrypted form in a removeable security module, ID security module required to access secure functions, high security physical lock protects security module and housing from unauthorized access, no additional hardware or software required for installation and configuration, transparent operation, diagnostics and alarm reporting, lower speed units are upgradeable.
