HASLER FAX UNIT

The Hasler Fax Unit is designed to enable you to send a fax message directly from your desk to anywhere in the world. It is the simplest way to connect your personal or business computer to over three million fax machines.

It uses the same standard Hasler protocol as the renowned Hasler Telex Unit and so will operate with the same extensive range of office computer systems, networks and message switches, providing a powerful link to fax users all over the world.

Connecting your computer to the Hasler Fax Unit virtually eliminates the need to send a message via the office fax machine.

A comprehensive range of features is provided for versatile and efficient operation.

CODE CONVERSION

ASCII text and encoded graphics from the host computer system are translated into compressed fax format for transmission. An incoming fax message may be passed to the host system in encoded compressed fax format

Fully conforms to CCITT recommendations T4 and T30 for Group 3 fax.
